Overcoming Obstacles
The template “Overcoming Obstacles” is wonderfully suited for a team retrospective. If a team is facing a mountain and is looking for ways to overcome the challenges, the target state should be defined together and known obstacles should be collected. Just look outside the box together for a few minutes.
Leading questions:
- How does it look before the mountain?
- What does it look like behind the mountain?
- What obstacles does the mountain represent?
- Where do we stand?
- Have we already started the ascent to the summit?
- What are the minimum intermediate goals, obstacles or milestones we need to achieve?
- Is there a shortcut?
- Is there a way around the mountain?
- Can we get under the mountain?
- Is the climb to the top even right?
